Now I can say this is easy, but recognizing the self behind the ego is hard. The saying "through is the way" - is true. When we chase pleasure, we just end up diverting ourselves from our ideal.
This hurts us when looking at ourselves. The approach of challenging yourself pushes you forward to a level of embrace that cannot be earned. Now, some may contest the art of learning with no action to speak of. This is something that hurts me, when I know people go their whole lives without pressuring what truly matters. I learned that I could always have been pushing forward, and this will always keep me growing in one way or another. Benjamin franklin, a person who succeeded in every domain of his life, once said:
"No gain without pain" -Benjamin franklin
For those who certainly are not in dire need of emotional or psychological support, there are questions you could ask yourself to reassess where you are consciously and subconsciously throughout your day, and some simple ideas to regain a sense of direction for yourself.
Some questions could be included below.
Problem:
You feel like you can't do anything because there is too much to do.
Solution:
break them up into small tasks and do one at a time.
Problem:
You feel tired and you can't perform what you need to do.
Solution:
Engage in a form of physical activity for a short time to reset your physical and emotional state.
Problem:
You're isolating yourself for long periods of time.
Solution:
Set a time at least one time a week where you meet with friends or colleagues.
Problem:
You're overindulging in bad habits and you don't feel dependent on certain things.
Solution:
Do a period of detoxing from one or more substances or addictions, even reducing phone use can be a great practice for this.
Problem:
You have no hobbies or passions, and you can only participate in activities that require little effort. Solution:
Ponder your most memorable and enjoyable moments from childhood, imagine experiencing these things again and try to think of how to recreate them in your current stage of life. Or think of scenarios which have been joyful moments in the past few years and what can you do to increase those experiences or even advance your ability to do them well.
The signs that you may need mental health care can vary, but some common signs include: excessive worry, sleeplessness, feeling empty, hopeless, or sadness. Physical changes: sweating, nausea, tiredness, difficulty breathing, difficulty regulating emotions and decreased performance at work or school.
